Liebe Patientinnen, Patienten und Angehörige, sehr geehrte Kolleginnen, Kollegen und Besucher,

das Universitätsklinikum Brandenburg an der Havel behandelt zahlreiche Patienten mit akuten und chronischen Erkrankungen der Blut- und Lymphgefäße. Die landesweite Versorgung von Patienten mit diesen Krankheitsbildern ist einer der Schwerpunkte der Universitätsmedizin in der Medizinischen Hochschule Brandenburg „Theodor Fontane“.

Wir, die Ärztinnen und Ärzte, Schwestern und Pfleger, medizinische Fachangestellten, Gefäßassistentinnen und Sekretariatsmitarbeiterinnen und –mitarbeiter der Kliniken für Gefäßchirurgie und Endovaskuläre, Angiologie, Radiologie und Neuroradiologie haben uns deshalb zu einem der deutschlandweit größten interdisziplinären Gefäßzentren zusammengeschlossen. Unsere erfahrenen Fachärztinnen und Fachärzte können Sie rund um die Uhr in enger kollegialer Zusammenarbeit sicher, persönlich und hochmodern bei akuten und chronischen Durchblutungsstörungen, Verletzungen, Blutungen und anderen Problemen untersuchen und sowohl minimalinvasiv (endovaskulär) als auch operativ zeitgerecht behandeln.

In unserem hochmodernen Hybrid-Op sowie an einer eigenständigen Hochleistungs-Angiographieanlage werden täglich komplexe endovaskuläre Eingriffe im Rahmen etablierter universitätsklinischer Behandlungsstandards minimal-invasiv durchgeführt werden. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auch in der Behandlung von Aortenerkrankungen und von komplexen Unterschenkel-Gefäßeröffnungen. Grundlage ist ein durchgängig strahlungs- und kontrastmittelsparendes Vorgehen mit konsequenter Reduktion jodhaltiger Kontrastmittel und – bei geeigneter Indikation – vollständig kontrastmittelfreier Angiographie, zum Beispiel durch CO2 oder intravaskulären Ultraschall.

Durch die Teilnahme niedergelassener Kollegen an unserem Zentrum ist eine nahtlose Vor- und Nachbetreuung gewährleistet. Für spezielle Fragestellungen stehen außerdem die Hochschulambulanzen unserer drei Fachabteilungen für das persönliche Gespräch zur Verfügung. Wöchentlich finden spezielle Fallkonferenzen für Erkrankungen der Halsschlagader (zusammen mit den Neurologen des Hauses), der Bein- und Armschlagadern (mit den beteiligten Abteilungen des Gefäßzentrums) und der Aorta (mit Gefäßspezialisten anderer Universitätskliniken der Medizinischen Hochschule Brandenburg) statt, an denen auch niedergelassene Ärzte ihre Fälle persönlich oder online vorstellen können. Patienten für die Vorstellung in den Fallkonferenzen können über diesen link per mail angemeldet werden.

Tuftex–Studie

Phase IV-Studie zur Evaluierung der Sicherheit von Embolektomiekathetern
Es handelt sich um eine multizentrische Phase-IV-Studie in zwei Armen: „Single Lumen Catheter“ und Over the wire Catheter“, deren Erfolgsraten und Sicherheit prospektiv erfasst und verglichen werden soll.

Lauflabor-Studie

Im Rahmen der Studie Lauflabor-Kohorte Brandenburg wird am Universitätsklinikum Brandenburg an der Havel schrittweise eine spezielle Hochschulambulanz für Patientinnen und Patienten mit Beinschmerzen und Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen aufgebaut. Ziel ist es, die medizinische Versorgung in Brandenburg durch bessere Vorsorge, klare Untersuchungsabläufe und eine abgestimmte Behandlung langfristig zu verbessern. Die Untersuchungen im Lauflabor erfolgen nach festen, standardisierten Protokollen und umfassen unter anderem Durchblutungsmessungen, Geh-Tests und strukturierte Gespräche zu Beschwerden und Einschränkungen im Alltag. Die dabei erhobenen Daten werden in einer zentralen, geschützten Datenbank gesammelt, die derzeit in einer Kooperation mit der Technischen Hochschule Brandenburg weiterentwickelt wird. Dieses digitale System soll künftig ermöglichen, Krankheitsverläufe besser nachzuvollziehen und Behandlungen noch gezielter anzupassen. Zusätzlich wird daran gearbeitet, Therapieerfolge nicht nur medizinisch, sondern auch aus Patientensicht systematisch zu erfassen. Dies erfolgt etwa mithilfe von Beinschmerz-Fragebögen, einem Gefäßalter-Score sowie Angaben zu Wohlbefinden und Lebensqualität. Ergänzend befindet sich ein begleitendes Ernährungsberatungsprogramm im Aufbau, um die Behandlung zukünftig ganzheitlich zu unterstützen.

ECMA-Studie:

Grundlage der Studie ist ein an der MHB entwickeltes, schonendes Behandlungsverfahren namens External Collateral Modulated Arteriogenesis (ECMA). Ziel dieser Therapie ist es, die Bildung natürlicher Umgehungsgefäße zu fördern und dadurch die Durchblutung zu verbessern. Die Antepulsation ist die praktische Anwendung dieses Prinzips: Dabei werden an den Beinen spezielle Manschetten angelegt, die im Rhythmus des Herzschlags kurzzeitig Druck ausüben. So wird der Blutfluss gezielt beschleunigt und die Gefäße werden ähnlich trainiert wie bei körperlicher Bewegung. In der Studie wird untersucht, ob diese Therapie die Durchblutung und Gehfähigkeit von Patientinnen und Patienten verbessern kann, die aufgrund ihrer Erkrankung nicht ausreichend trainieren können. Durch die regelmäßige Anwendung sollen neue kleine Blutgefäße entstehen, die das Gewebe besser mit Sauerstoff versorgen. Die Behandlung wird dabei individuell angepasst: Die Stärke der Impulse wird für jede Patientin und jeden Patienten persönlich eingestellt (individualisierte Schubspannungstherapie, ISRT). Ziel ist eine wirksame, gut verträgliche und auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse abgestimmte Therapie, die die Lebensqualität nachhaltig verbessert.
